An Improper Gait – The Mother of all Foot Problems:

Most of us have had brushes with foot problems at least once in our lives – be it pain ball of foot, tendonitis foot pain, Bunion Surgery or something else, it is an extremely insufferable experience to bear, not the least because it often reduces you to bed rest which means you are unable to get a day’s work done – you lag behind in your work schedule and your career is put on hold if you’re an athlete or performer who relies on their legs (which basically means almost every entertainer today).


You will be surprised to know that the culprit is so trivial that it sits (or walks) there right under your nose and you are not aware of it. It is simply your improper walking style or gait! This gait is an indication of a poorly distributed body weight on the feet which leads to foot problems such as Pain in Ball of Foot, bunion surgery, or Tendonitis Foot pain. The muscles and joints of your feet become misaligned due to an improper gait and lead to these problems.



Furthermore, an improper gait puts excessive pressure on your toes which aggravates the conditions of ingrown toenails and encourages the development of bunions. It is quite simple to determine if your style of walking is correct or not. Simply stand straight and check if your feet arc excessively inward or outward – this means you’re body weight isn’t well distributed on your feet and you are walking in an awkward and stressful manner. If the soles of your shoes are worn around a particular edge more than the others, that also means you are walking incorrectly. You should seek remedial steps such as orthotic implants to counter this and protect yourself from Foot Problems like pain in ball of foot, bunion surgery and tendonitis foot pain.
